Join the Centre for Alternative Politics & Security West Africa (CAPS-WA) to research and write on West Africa’s security, governance, and development. Roles are situated within our departments: Maritime Security, Technology & Security, Youth, Women & Gender, Governance & Democratisation, and Environmental Security.
What you’ll do
- Produce monthly articles/briefs and quarterly cross-department pieces.
- Conduct geopolitical/sectoral analysis for West Africa.
- Feed findings into the West Africa Update and policy papers.
- Work within our editorial process and uphold clear, original writing.
You bring
- Regional expertise or strong interest.
- Proven writing for policy and general audiences.
- Alignment with CAPS-WA values: humanity, responsibility, diversity, collaboration.
